Instructions for the LEDONE mandatory beacon
Procedure
- In case of an incident, follow traffic regulations and stop your vehicle in a safe location.
- Activate the beacon and place it on the vehicle to immediately alert others of your position on the road.
- Occupants must wear a reflective vest, exit the vehicle on the side opposite to traffic, and wait in a safe location. If it is not safe to leave the vehicle, stay inside with the seatbelt fastened (Article 130 RGC).

Use and maintenance
- Store the beacon in an accessible place, such as the glove compartment or the motorcycle's trunk
- Use LEDONE V16® to be seen and located. Avoid using this device while in motion, as vibrations may cause it to fall.
- It works with a 9-volt alkaline battery 6LR61. Verify the correct type and voltage when replacing it. Do not disassemble the device. Replace the battery when the light intensity decreases significantly.
- Install and use the beacon at a minimum distance of 20 cm from your body.

Precautions
- Use: It is not a toy and should not be used by children or inexperienced individuals unless supervised.
- Magnetic base: Keep away from sources that emit or receive sensitive magnetic radiation, and from pacemakers.
- Ingestion: In case of accidental ingestion, it may cause serious injuries.
- Heating: It is normal for the battery to heat up during use due to the high energy demand.
- Do not handle the inside of the battery compartment during use. The battery should only be handled or replaced when the device is turned off and at least 10 minutes have passed since its last use. There is a potential risk of explosion if replaced with an incorrect type.
- Disposal: Dispose of the battery at an authorized recycling point. If the device breaks, dispose of it at a proper recycling facility.

CERTIFIES that this equipment complies with the requirements of the applicable European Directives and harmonized regulations, as well as the regulations listed below. The design and construction of this equipment have taken into account these Directives and regulations, according to tests conducted by the accredited laboratories LCOE (Official Central Electrotechnical Laboratory).
APPROVED PRODUCT
ERUM VIAL, S.L. certifies that the equipment is approved by the LCOE (Official Central Electrotechnical Laboratory) with the approval number LCOE 2023010084G1. It complies with Order PCI/810/2018, which modifies Annex XI of the General Vehicle Regulations, and Instruction 18/V-132 of the Directorate General of Traffic. The SIM card expiration date is located on the base of the beacon. Designed and manufactured in Spain and distributed by Erum Vial, S.L.

Use of the beacon:
- Activate: Hold the base and turn the dome to the left.
- Deactivate: Hold the base and turn the dome to the right.
BATTERY REPLACEMENT
- Hold the beacon and turn the dome to the right until it detaches.
- Always use 9V 6LR61 alkaline batteries.
- Remove the used battery and insert the new one according to the indicated polarity.
- Reattach the dome by aligning the slot with the inner tab and turn it to the left.
Recommendations:
- Check the battery condition periodically, although its warranty is 2 years without use.
Additional functions:
- LEDONE V16® complies with regulation 1030/2022, both in lighting and in the anonymous sending of the location to the DGT without having to use the application.

¿En qué situaciones se usa la luz de emergencia V16?
La luz de emergencia está diseñada para usar en los mismos casos que los triángulos de emergencia, es decir, en caso de accidente o avería en la carretera. El objetivo de este dispositivo es el de prevenir accidentes señalizando la situación del vehículo, alertando así al resto de vehículos, y a las autoridades en caso de ser necesario.
¿Cuándo se conecta la geolocalización y para qué sirve?
La geolocalización se activa únicamente cuando la baliza V16 está conectada y en funcionamiento. El objetivo de conocer la localización del vehículo es la de poder informar al resto de vehículos mediante los paneles de la carretera, así como poder enviar algún equipo de emergencia en caso de ser necesario.
