LEDONE Connected is a device developed by Erum Vial, a subsidiary of the Erum Group, a Spanish multinational specializing in sustainable plastic injection within the framework of the circular economy, with 85 years of history and present in more than 20 countries.
At Erum Vial, a company specialized in connected road safety devices, we work to find solutions that benefit citizens’ road safety through research, design, development, and production of innovative road safety signals.
Our project was born with a clear objective: road safety. To drastically reduce the number of injured and harmed due to traffic accidents through IoT-connected devices.
OUR BEACON
The LEDONE Connected Emergency Light is an innovative solution that redefines road safety through its advanced connectivity, sustainable commitment, and design focused on optimal visibility and easy use.
The main function of the LEDONE Connected signal is to pre-signal the vehicle that is stopped due to any breakdown, accident, or incident on the road, informing other road users of its situation through its powerful light and connection to the DGT 3.0 platform.
Advanced connectivity
This beacon comes with included connectivity until 2041, using Vodafone’s Narrow Band IoT network to connect anonymously with the DGT in case of an incident. This ensures a fast and efficient response to any emergency situation. Connectivity is included in the purchase price, eliminating additional costs for the user.
Sustainable commitment
The connected LedOne V16 beacon has been designed following eco-design principles, with a focus on sustainability throughout its entire life cycle. It is made with 82% recycled plastic, reducing its environmental impact. Additionally, it does not use any extra packaging: its jar-shaped case protects the beacon throughout its useful life and facilitates storage in the vehicle, fitting perfectly into cup holders or door compartments.
Guaranteed visibility
The design of the beacon, being taller, guarantees excellent visibility from any angle, even on vehicles with side bars and in adverse weather conditions such as snow. This ensures that the emergency signal is visible from a distance, enhancing safety in critical situations.
Easy installation
Thanks to its magnetic base and adhesive option, the V16 beacon installs quickly and easily on metal or plastic surfaces, providing great versatility for use on any type of vehicle.
Design and manufacturing in Spain
Each beacon is entirely designed and manufactured in Spain. The plastic parts and assembly are done in Alcoy, while the IoT board is produced in Alicante, meeting the highest standards in connectivity and durability certifications.
