Human Rights Policy

POLICY OBJECTIVE

The Erum Group (hereinafter “Erum” or the “Company,” interchangeably) is a group of companies primarily dedicated to the design, injection, and assembly of plastic parts headquartered in Alcoy (Alicante, Spain) with an international presence across five continents. Erum is committed to waste valorization and providing high value-added environmental services to clients, promoting the circular economy.The objective of this Policy is to establish the principles and commitments assumed in terms of sustainability, both in its own activities and in its relationship with its Stakeholders.

SCOPE OF THE POLICY

This policy applies to all companies belonging to the Erum Group.

IMPLEMENTATION OF THIS POLICY

The Company Management has assigned responsibility for the smooth and effective application of this policy to the Director of the Legal Department, who will be responsible for making every effort to ensure the effective enforcement of this policy.

THE GROUP’S COMMITMENT TO HUMAN RIGHTS

The company is committed to carrying out its business activities based on respect for the following human and labor rights:Labor human rights
  • Rejection of forced labor

Erum Group rejects any form of forced or compulsory labor, as defined by the ILO Convention 29. We commit to not using any type of forced or compulsory labor, whether in prison labor or servitude regimes.
  • Child labor is rejected

Erum respects children’s rights and rejects child labor, in accordance with ILO Convention 138 and in line with the minimum working age according to relevant national legislation. We commit to not employing child labor for the welfare and proper education of children in our society. Therefore, the Group does not employ anyone under 18 years old.
  • Discrimination is rejected and diversity is promoted

Erum rejects any form of discrimination, respecting the diversity of its employees and offering equal opportunities for employment and career advancement. No employee of the Group will be subject to discrimination based on race, origin, ethnicity, disability, illness, religion, marital status, sexual orientation, political opinion, age, citizenship, gender, or any other reason or condition that may lead to discrimination.
  • Protect workers’ health and safety

All Erum employees work in healthy and safe environments. The company guarantees a healthy and safe work environment for its employees through various procedures and regulations on occupational hazards and workplace health and safety, complying with all legal requirements on this matter established in the national laws and regulations of the countries where it operates.Erum’s manufacturers and suppliers will also provide a safe and healthy workplace for all their employees.
  • Fair, equitable, and favorable working conditions

Erum treats its employees with respect, fairly and equitably, and pays remuneration in accordance with applicable legal provisions, including minimum wage, overtime, and benefits. Weekly working hours and overtime will not exceed legal limits established by laws and regulations. Overtime will always be voluntary and paid according to the law.Erum will establish all necessary conditions so that its employees enjoy these rights, in accordance with ILO Conventions or applicable laws and regulations.Erum guarantees its employees a work environment free from any form of harassment, intimidation, or violence. Thus, any form of harassment or abuse of employees, whether sexual, psychological, or verbal, as well as any other behavior that may lead to an intimidating, offensive, or hostile work environment, is prohibited.Erum’s manufacturers and suppliers must comply with the provisions of the Code of Conduct for Manufacturers and Suppliers to ensure fair, equitable, and favorable working conditions for all their employees.We will ensure compliance with applicable national laws and labor legislation and respect the UN and ILO conventions.We will communicate this policy to all personnel, whether directly employed, contracted, or representing the company, and make it available to interested parties upon request.

MONITORING AND SUPERVISION

This policy is subject to an annual review by the Legal Department of Erum Headquarters and the Operations Department of Erum Headquarters (HQ) to ensure it remains aligned with the highest corporate standards and market trends and best practices.
